MARBLES PRINT
I’ve had a lot of nutters asking about this since I painted it over winter.
I don’t think they realise these aren’t actually their real marbles.
I’ve turned it into a Risograph print.
It’s an open edition. There are photos of 3 hand-finished prints, which sold out yesterday. Only the print without labels is available now.

What is a Risograph?
Risograph printing is a sustainable printing method, which creates minimal waste, uses barely any electricity and saves thousands of litres of water compared to screen printing, for example.
The prints are all printed on natural paper using soy based (non-toxic) inks and most importantly they look great. If I do say so myself. They have a unique grain to them (see below) and the registration between each layers is not perfect making for overlaps and blurs, which make each print unique and gives them a vintage / retro feel.

ABOUT MERNY
Merny makes paintings and murals inspired by human interactions, online memes, diagrams and safety posters.
He predominantly works in watercolours in his studio and uses spray paint and rollers on the street.
The varied output of Merny’s saturated and hilarious watercolours have been described as unique, vibrant and evocative. Tainted with dark humour, laden with sarcasm and peppered with cryptic textbook-style labels which provide no clue as to their true meaning.
His work is unpretentious, playful and relatable to people of all ages and backgrounds. Merny is unafraid to confront uncomfortable truths about our times both on the street and in his studio.
In 2024 he had his first solo show “A Waste Of Paint” At 17 Midland Road, Bristol and has exhibited in many group shows including Art The Arms Fair, alongside Jeremy Deller, Magda Archer and more.
